4 FLAVOURS OF DOCTOR LILT

Come one, come all to see Doctor Lilt 'genre hopping' and collaborating with some awesome music people at four very different gigs.

The shows are a showcase of the different types of music I make, but besides blatant self-promotion, you'll also get to see established bands and artists who are already well known for their quality output!

The Doctor Lilt material written for all these shows, except the Cat's Ass singer/songwriter one, hasn't actually been written yet, so yes, the pressure is on and these gigs will either be a total disaster or it will be exciting, spontaneous and hopefully cutting edge. I'll either impress you all with my abilities to come up with 4 gigs worth of, very different, material in about 3 weeks, or make a total asshat out of myself in epic FAIL.

Either way it will be entertaining.

Pop Music & youtube Videos

Apologies folks, because of a recent mishap with transferring files to the Doctor Lilt server a couple of older mp3s have evaporated into the ether. Most of the great stuff is still available though and I've also brought back some older 'pop' numbers... So every cloud, innit?

Also, in more abstract musical goings on:

So I had a wee set up at the Pavilion, t'other Thursday night there and was most flattered at this sketch, by Jamie Morton, drawn while I was rocking my beats (and my hats) onstage.

Doctor Lilt Live @ The Limelight, 4th May

I'm gonna be writing new material to fit my next gig, which is at The Limelight on 4th May supporting the very cool Dan Le Sac v Scroobius Pip. Some Phat hip hop is in order, but I am gonna throw in a few surprises, leave people thinking "who was that crazy Doctor Lilt guy, he was cool, I want to fully endorse and/or buy his services!"

Also been working on a Jamie Lidell remix, it's gonna be sexy and bouncy.
Coming your way soon.

On the Remix tip : Any bands or musicians interested in having your music given the Doctor Lilt remix treatment, do get in touch! I think you'll find my results, agreeable.
